The group was founded on October 16, 2003 in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Astika and Swastika (Swa) with the participation of Amper Alex Nico and Alexander Morgen.

The most famous band on the label played in the style of experimental, noise, dance.

In 2003, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010, the band was awarded the title of "Best Band of the Year on the Arisk Star music label".

"Furer Furee" was recognized as the best song of the year in 2004.

"Bombardment of Carpets" was recognized as the best song of the year in 2008.

"Tamerlania" was recognized as the best song of the year in 2009.

In 2013, the group took 6th place in Cyprus Top 26 Cypriot artists

In 2015, on March 30, a Swa (1988 - 2015) was killed in a car accident in India, in the state of Punjab, near the city of Amritsar.

On April 3, 2015, Astika and Amper announced the dissolution of the group.
